Q - What is VirtueMart?

A - VirtueMart is a shopping cart program written for installation on the Joomla CMS platform. It perform most of the functions of the leading shopping cart programs yet can be downloaded freely and installed in minutes onto an existing Joomla platform.

Q - How long will it take for you to design my Joomla website?

A - It varies depending on size and complexity. Our basic entry level website can sometimes be turned around in less than 3/4 days, depending on workload. More complex sites involving eCommerce can take upwards of two weeks.

Q - How long will it take before I appear in Google, once my website is up?

A - If you've selected a package including SEO, we'll usually get your website indexed by Google in around a week. Sometimes it takes longer for reasons outside of our control.

Q - Do you only design websites in Joomla?

A - No, absolutely not! - We design using Dreamweaver for HTML / PHP / ASP custom applications and also in WordPress for more basic blog-based websites. Joomla however is our first choice, given its extensive features and the fact that the customer can support his/herself with ongoing maintenance and updates.

Q - What payment methods do you accept?

A - We accept PayPal - Check - Visa/MC/Amex and wire transfers.

Q - What guarantees do you offer for your search engine placement?

A - It depends largely on the package you select. For basic optimization packages there can be no guarantee of results, and we suggest you are wary of any company that offers them. For more upscale projects we'll agree on a results schedule before signing contracts and any eventuality will be covered in the contract. SEO is a very fickle world these days, search engines are constantly changing their algorithms and results change almost daily. We only undertake SEO work where we can see that the client has his/her priorities straight and is committed to the long-term success of the website. That invariably means building content, allowing us to implement safe SEO strategies and not encouraging quick yet risky optimization techniques.

Q - Are you guys located in China or India?

A - We are located in Door County WI, on the beautiful Door Peninsula in the small township of Egg Harbor. Though our owner is fanatical about Indian cuisine, he is not from India, nor do we outsource our projects overseas. We understand the concerns of many people looking for web design and looking to save money. You'll come across many companies located in places like India, Indonesia, Russia and China, and whilst we are not suggesting that you should not work with them, you'll need to understand the language barriers and time differences can often lead to a protracted project timeframe and an uncertain outcome. We'll happily travel to your location if your project would benefit from a site visit. We can accommodate travel at no cost to the client in the Green Bay / Fox Valley area's, and to Madison / Milwaukee.
